Morgan Freeman has joined forces with SafeAirbags, starring in its latest campaign to raise awareness of 'the need to repair the millions of recalled Takata airbags' in the US.

The campaign is part of ongoing efforts to spread the word that a part inside the particular recalled airbags can explode, and Patrick Juneau of SafeAirbags commented 'We hope enlisting the support of a celebrity such as Mr. Freeman will cause more consumers to better understand the severity and urgency of this recall, check their vehicles, and contact their local dealerships immediately to schedule a free recall repair if they are affected'.
